About the concert
The Castagnole Community Choir has been inspiring the concert audience of the Piedmont region in northern Italy for 6 years with traditional gospel, which could also be directly from the southern states of the USA. Founded by conductor Daria Moscatelli and organist Alberto Marsico, the choir consists mainly of women (and men) from the community of Castagnole as well as members of the gospel choir Turin on tour.A deep friendship connects us with Alberto Marsico, the Italian organist from Castagnole.
To be seen for the first time in Germany and thus for the first time in Dresden, we are looking forward to a great evening full of gospel and soul.
This evening will be presented in a joint production by Blue Note Dresden and SAX - Das Dresdner Stadtmagazin
We have a deep friendship with Alberto Marsico, the Italian organist from Castagnole. He and his wife founded the Castagnole Community Choir in their home church a few years ago. For the first time in Germany and thus for the first time in Dresden, we are looking forward to a great evening full of gospel and soul.
