About the concert
Bandleader Anne Munka plays as a singer and composer not only with different genres such as radio play, sound poetry and sound installation, but also deals with the connections of different musical genres. In the spring of last year, she began working with jazz pianist Olga Reznichenko. The first music making together quickly resulted in the desire to found a band and deepen the cooperation. The newly formed quartet “Pauline Réage” is now presenting itself to the public for the first time as part of the concert series.
The line-up with Olga Reznichenko (p/comp/voc), Robert Lucaciu (b/voc), Maximilian Breu (dr/voc) and Anne Munka (voc/comp) promises virtuosity and expressivity. The play attitude and improvisational potential of music are shaped by the musical roots and preferences of the band members. The four unconventional musicians move between progressive rock, modern jazz, freeplay, experimental radio play and folk.
