About the concert
Warum Lila?
Lila is a term from Hinduism that describes a theological concept. Lila refers to the divine game, in which the deity sees creation as a game and thereby shows radical freedom and spontaneity. The term comes from the Brahmasutra. Later, not only was divine creativity considered purple, but other phenomena such as Shiva’s cosmic dance and Kali’s wildness were also seen.
However, all this has nothing to do with the band! Therefore, the question remains "Why purple?"
If you still want to draw parallels, creativity, radical freedom and spontaneity perhaps best describe the interaction of the four virtuoso full-blood musicians. As a starting point, the quartet makes use of older and newer favorite standards, which are interpreted anew and definitely Groovy each time, as well as a growing reporter on its own pieces.
