M.E.I.N.E.R.

The band M.E.I.N.E.R. founded around the trumpeter Mathis Cech is an up-and-coming representative of the young German jazz scene, driven by lively creativity.

With nostalgic sounds and warm grooves, M.E.I.N.E.R. brings the soundtrack of the band members’ own musical biographies to the stage. The different styles and songs that are particularly dear to the band are processed in new compositions and interpretations.

The music of M.E.I.N.E.R. is influenced by bands and musicians such as Yellowjackets, Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock and modern formations of the London jazz scene. In doing so, the band tries to present these influences in a new guise and constantly develop their own sound.
