Merriment and Dirt

The lyrics full of biting irony about failure, wonders, stumbling in life. Post-punk rock is correspondingly mean, hypnotic, confusing, danceable and playful - as the band name says: cheerfulness and dirt. Merriment and Dirt are two former Berlin crustpunkers. Milena found her new music when she lived in Finland, Budi is now drumming in London with the Tiger Lillies, previously playing with K.C. McKanzie/Leisure Tank. In this F/D/UK band, the offshoots of human interaction are musically twisted.

Merriment and Dirt toured in Maerz ‘23 as a trio for the release of their debut album.
