Grüneberg I Zitt I Büchner Trio

Since their first day of studying jazz in Mannheim, Julian Grüneberg (bass) and Justin Zitt (piano) have been playing together. They also released their first album “Smalltalk”. Complemented to the trio by the Dresden-based singer Ferdinand Büchner, they face a challenge: How can the well-known pieces of the Great American Songbook be respected in their original form while refreshingly modern and openly interpreted? In the course of this goal, the trio plays their favourite jazz standards.

In doing so, they also want to devote themselves specifically to the mostly unknown verses of the pieces.
