About the concert

Gábor Csordás' Swansong Trio offers emotional, adventurous and uncompromising music. The sensitive melodic world characteristic of the ECM label is counterpointed by the groovy, reduced accompaniment inspired by fusion music and electronic dance music.

It combines the improvisational traditions of jazz with the musical influences that surround modern man, all of which is presented in an extremely personal tone, through the musical and friendly relationship of three people spanning continents.

The band uniquely brings together three musicians from three continents. Their first album “Swansong” was unveiled in 2019 as part of a hugely successful Japan tour (Tokyo, Kyoto, Shizuoka, Nagoya), and in 2022 two new albums were released, “Do Swans fly?” studio album and the concert album “Turbulence”.

The trio was founded in Berlin under the direction of Gábor Csordás, who became known for his records in DSD format released by Hunnia Records, under which “Chasing a Dream” 2022 won the Jazz Record of the Year award on NativeDSD.com. 2019 Egodetox. C. his film music won the composition prize of the Bujtor Festival.
