FAQ – Blue Note Dresden
Everything you need to know about your visit to us.
Concerts & Tickets
When does the Blue Note open?
We usually open at 19:00. Our concerts start at 20:00 and finish around 22:00. Our bar remains open afterwards.
How much is the admission fee?
Many of our concerts are held on a donation basis. We recommend 10 euros per person. If you can’t afford to give that much, give what you can. If you’d like to give more, please feel free to be more generous.
We collect donations on behalf of the performing bands during the interval or after the concert. For other events, the stated admission prices apply.
Where can I get tickets?
The easiest way is to book directly via our ticket shop:
Go to the Blue Note ticket shop
Alternatively, you can buy tickets directly from EVENTIM or at all the usual ticket outlets. Provided the event isn’t sold out, tickets are also available at the box office on the night.
You don’t need a ticket for pay-what-you-can concerts.
Can I return tickets?
Returns are generally not permitted. In the event of an event being cancelled, statutory refund entitlements apply.
Can I reserve seats?
Generally speaking, no, but in exceptional cases by prior arrangement. We have around 50 seats. It’s worth arriving early!
Why should I keep quiet during the concerts?
Our small club thrives on the close connection between the audience and the stage. To ensure that everyone can enjoy the music, we ask for silence during the concerts. There is plenty of time to chat before, during the interval and afterwards.
Bar & Drinks
Can I pop round even if there isn’t a concert on?
Of course! We’re also a bar with a wide selection of whiskies, cocktails, fine wines and beers. The bar stays open after the concerts.
Is there a minimum purchase requirement?
Yes, during our concerts there is a minimum purchase of one drink per person.
Can I pay by card?
Yes, we accept all major cards as well as cash.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
No, that’s not allowed here.
