ma|tov|trio
The ma|tov|trio combines catchy song structures with clear melodies and harmonies that create an atmospheric mood. At the same time, the band does not shy away from powerful, loud passages. Founded by the Berlin guitarist André Matov, the trio pursues an independent sound approach: instead of complex constructions, the focus is on groove, form experiments and the balance between arrangement and improvisation.
The sound moves between grunge, ambient and groove jazz. Expressive guitar sounds combine with the warm tone of the Hammond organ and a flexible, dynamic drumming game.
