Mathew James White

Mathew James White
– Merkur
If you like the music of Ed Sheeran, Passenger and Neil Finn, you will also appreciate Mathew James White. The native New Zealander and meanwhile Berlin-based musician is often compared with the aforementioned sizes of the music business due to his repertoire full of catchy chill and sometimes rocky melodies.
Sein im September 2017 veröffentlichtes viertes und jüngstes Studioalbum "I'm Thinking of You”.
Down At The Ocean'' & ''Where Did You Go''. "I’m Thinking of You" behandelt auch Themen wie das Erkennen der eigenen Stärke ("You Could Be It“), die Vorfreude auf ein neues Leben ("Ride of Your Life“) & das Herbeisehen derer, die wir lieben, welche aber weit, weit entfernt von uns leben ("I’m Thinking of You").
In addition to "I'm Thinking of You", White has released three other studio albums: "That's Just Me" in 2004, Acoustic Guitars & Ooh La La's in 2007 & 528Hz in 2011, as well as a live album "Songs From My Living Room" in 2014.
His side project "Mpath" is a three-piece band he founded with German drummer Phillip Renz and English hit producer Martyn Phillips. The band has released three studio albums since 2006.
