Rabea

Rabea
Growing up on quiet lakes and in small villages, RABEA chose the cello as her instrument – with her heart turned to pop music. With the completion of her classically shaped studies at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, RABEA reoriented itself, attended the pop course of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg in 2015 and founded the project named after her in 2016. In 2019, the Hanoverian artist published her debut EP “Ask For The Moon” and went on tour with her band several times.
Today she sings effortlessly while playing the cello and creating her own sound with loops and effects. In autumn 2023, RABEA will go on a solo tour and present their new EP ‘Kingdom’. From longing and intimate to stormy and majestic – RABEA sets up a wide range of dazzling musical layers in her new work to free herself from old, self-made walls. With her new EP ‘Kingdom’ she confidently takes the sceptre and creates her own kingdom.
