Focus Female Festival LIVESTREAM

Anna Berwanger
The harpist Anna Berwanger invites with her concert program Kleinode on the concert harp to linger. The rarely heard original composition 'Une chatelaine en sa tour' will be heard, as well as transcriptions for harp: jewelry such as 'Bird as Prophet' & 'Lonely Flower' from the forest scenes of R. Schumann, a wonderful lute suite from J.S.Bach and other ear-dropping treats. In between, there are gems such as a Scarlatti Sonata, a prelude by Erik Satie and a set from a Rameau suite "La Rappel des Oiseaux": This piece has hit the nerve of French music like no other. It already contains everything that then reaches Debussy, Ravel, Messiaen and Boulez. The fear of modern man to lose the soul from pure knowledge and art, whose symbol was always the birds. The "Rappel des Oiseaux" show Rameau at the height of his art. It belongs to the second cycle, the "Pièces des Clavecin" in the original for harpsichord.
