InSpace

InSpace

InSpace is an ensemble of five young musicians from Ukraine, Russia and Germany. The compositions of her singer Kateryna Kravchenko are supported by an acoustic, warm band sound that exhausts the timbres of each instrument and gives the music contrasting depth. Here, the melody plays the main role. Not subject to any meter, it is organically embedded by complex rhythmic structures. In doing so, she intertwines with the accompaniment to form a flowing unit. The synergies arising from the different backgrounds of the musicians help to create innovative sound experiences and make the pieces appear in ever new light.

Kateryna Kravchenko (UA) — Gesang
Timur Valitov (RU) — Tenor Saxophon
Victor Möhmel (DE) — Klavier
Ivan Scholz (DE) — Bass
Heinrich Eißmann (DE) — Schlagzeug
