URS Quartett

URS Quartett

The URS Quartet invites you on a journey through emotions of longing, joy, as well as perplexity. How thrilling such an invitation can be, show the four Cologne musicians in their expressive instrumental interaction. Compositions by the bandleader UrsulaWienken, as well as well known modern jazz personalities, stimulate compassion, diving and dancing. The music makes dreams like a degenerate 4 hours siesta, and surprises like sun rays in December - who is ready for this emotional tasting?

With their new quartet, the German-Polish bassist Ursula Wienken is dedicated to the sound spheres of European Modern Jazz.A young and well-recorded band from NRW -you yourself from Neuss, coming your fellow musicians from Cologne, Bielefeld and Wuppertal, are all currently studying at the renowned music college in Cologne. Everyone brings different experiences that color the music and make it sound particularly varied. This creates a unique acoustic cosmos that could hardly be more coherent. The URSQuartett opens the space for new moments of experience that tempt you to dream and at the same time surprise you.
