Simon Lucaciu Trio

Simon Lucaciu Trio

Simon Lucaciu – piano
Florian Müller – bass
Lukas Heckers – drums

The CD title “STRG + X” adapts the key combination for cutting from the computer language, with which something is put into a memory, so that it can be retrieved from there and used in other environments. This is perhaps the most important quality feature of this very thoughtful and yet far from minded music: it is aware of its means, can turn, turn and rearrange them. Then he-improvised connections create their own forms, play in an unconsumed way with original material. This is a creative process that is not enough in juggling with set pieces and is too little for pure virtuosity.
