LUKE
LUKE
Despite his young 28 years, Lukas Schüssler, better known as LUKE, has been on various stages for 15 years as a singer, guitarist and songwriter. He toured in the opening programme of greats such as Patti Smith, PUR, Keb’ Mo’ and Taj Mahal and was awarded the German Rock and Pop Award in 2019.
Inspired by blues legends like Eric Clapton and songwriters like Sting or Bruce Springsteen, LUKE combines tradition and modernity in his songs. Its catchy melodies are accompanied by an organic sound that reflects the raw energy and authenticity of the blues.
With his rough and striking voice, the Saarbrücken performs his songs with "extremely expressive intensity" (Joachim Joe Brookes, RockTimes, September 14, 21). This reflects the musical versatility of the songwriter.
"Ausgefeilte Gitarrentechnik, ausdrucksstarker Gesang, perfektes Songwriting, eine herrlich groovende Band, ausladende Improvisationen und eine unglaubliche Dynamik – nicht nur live ein Erlebnis auf internationalem Niveau" (Saarbrücker Zeitung, 24.06.2022).
LUKE is the epitome of blues rock in all its intensity. With his band, he creates a musical experience that delights with both sophisticated technique and passionate performance. Be carried away by the catchy melodies and the powerful atmosphere of his songs. LUKE stands for a musical journey in which tradition and innovation meet and captivate the listener.
