BROKOF
BROKOF
BROKOF is an alternative folk rock band from Berlin, Germany. The 4-piece ensemble released their debut album "Softly, Softly, Catchee Monkey" in 2010. The band’s second album, Side By Side (LP, 2012), opened up wider access to a wider audience and was critically acclaimed, promptly earning them the nickname “Spree-Beatles.” The German STERN wrote: "Put simply: In BROKOF one of the most interesting folk rock bands in Germany is waiting to be discovered."
With the EP "Eviction Notice" (2015), BROKOF gave a first insight into their third album "Cool Fame" (LP, 2016) and toured Europe with the EP as a gift for their fans. ROLLING STONE magazine compared Cool Fame to the works of CSNY and The Who, calling it “simple and beautiful.”
A year later, the band released the album "Brother Equal" (LP, 2017), a collaboration with American singer-songwriter Random Willson.
"Fore!" – ROLLING STONE
After two years of creative seclusion, BROKOF announced their return to the public with the single "Share" (2022), followed by "Not At All" (single, 2022). With "6842123" (Single, 2023) the band announced a new album for the fall of 2023 and released another single in April with the title "Only A Song".
Line-up :
Arne Bergner (Keyboards, Gitarren, Gesang)
Fabian Brokof (Gesang, Gitarren)
Puya Shoary (Schlagzeug)

BROKOF is a band that delights with its unique style and musical versatility. Their songs combine folk, rock and alternative elements to create a gripping soundscape. With catchy melodies, powerful arrangements and the striking voices of Fabian Brokof and Rocco Weise, they offer an unforgettable listening experience.
