Lukas Wögler Quartett
Lukas Wögler Quartett
The band around saxophonist Lukas Wögler came together in the summer of 2019. A year of playing together and the freedom for the personal development of the individual musicians, the band has also moved musically further together. In the composition process, Lukas Wögler deals with personalities, states of mind and everyday situations. The desire for an unobtrusive emotional space. The pieces of the bandleader convince with simple but powerful melodies and harmonics and want to draw the listeners’ attention to an uncomplicated beauty of the music. Due to the long-standing cast, honest improvisation and a transparent band sound, the band always lets the audience participate in intimate moments on stage. The second studio album ALBA will be released on the label Plastic Jazz in September 2022.
