WILLKÜR

Judgment free from external constraints, rules, standards, expectations and laws.

Or: A collection of sounds, emotions and memories.

The band WILLKÜR is dedicated to the compositions and arrangements of Sofia Will. Poetry, intimacy and danceability are combined in WILLKÜR. Influenced by musicians: women like Avishai Cohen, Brian Blade, Ben Wendel, Beyoncé and sometimes Mozart, each piece has its own mood and carries melancholy and a lot of feeling in it. They are like unedited, honest diary entries of arbitrary moments in life that still belong together. Everyone recognizes themselves again.

Helen Skobowsky / gesang
Sofia Will / saxophon
Fe Fritschi / tasten
Grégoire Pignède / bass
Malte Wiest / schlagzeug
