Diego Pinera Invites

For the first concert in this format, Diego Pinera draws two other talented musicians from the Dresden Music Academy to play in an unusual formation. Arthur Clees is a Luxembourg vibraphonist and composer. After graduating from high school, he began his composition studies with Stefan Behrisch at the Carl Maria von Weber School of Music in Dresden with the minor Vibraphon with Roland Neffe. With his projects (SYNTerror, Kravchenko Clees, Anima, Jambal) he explores the sound worlds of contemporary improvised music and electroacoustic sound design. Samuel Dietze started playing drums at the age of 4. Since 2021 he has been studying his instrument at the Carl Maria von Weber School of Music in Dresden with Sebastian Merk, Michael Griener and Diego Pinera. In addition, he received lessons from other internationally known drummers such as Christian Lillinger and Günter Baby Sommer, who significantly influenced his playing. As a composer, he continuously creates new forms in various projects (e.g. SYNTerror) in order to explore the interplay between composition and improvisation. He is also part of the band ANIMA.
