GILAD ATZMON EUROPEAN 4TET

GILAD ATZMON EUROPEAN 4TET

GILAD ATZMON EUROPEAN 4TET

Gilad Atzmon, renowned cosmopolitan and horn player and leader of the successful band "Orient House Ensemble", is considered one of the pioneers of the fusion of Middle East and Israeli music with the jazz genre. In the jazz world, he has worked with artists such as Dhafer Youssef, and in the more commercial field, his horn can be heard on recordings by Pink Floyd (The Endless River), Paul McCartney, Sinead O'Connor and many others. With this new group, Gilad returns partly to his jazz roots and presents a repertoire of sweeping original pieces and standards while performing his energetic ethnic compositions from the "Orient House" era. He pays homage to greats such as John Coltrane and Charlie Parker.

Line-up :

GILAD ATZMON — Alt-Saxophon
Daniel Bulatkin – Piano
TARAS VOLOS – Kontrabass
DUŠAN ČERNÁK — Schlagzeug
