Finn Seemann Quintett

Finn Seemann Quintett

Finn Seemann is a young drummer and composer who grew up in Berlin. He has been studying at the renowned Jazz Institute Berlin since 2021 and has worked in various formations of the young Berlin jazz scene ever since. Now he goes for the first time as a bandleader with his quintet on tour.

Anchored in the tradition of modern jazz, from playful melodies to intricate rhythms and lively harmony sequences, with always plenty of room for improvisation, the compositions that Finn wrote for his quintet come from there. This is completed by the outstanding musicians Theo Altmann, Darius Blair, Lajos Meinberg and Johann Greve, all of whom met during their studies.

Line-up :
Theo Altmann – Trompete
Darius Blair – Tenor Sax
Lajos Meinberg – Klavier
Johann Greve – Bass
Finn Seemann – Drums
