Nick Cavoli Quintet

Nick Cavoli Quintet
Nick Cavoli is a jazz musician who graduated with top marks from the Jazz University in Rome in 2019 and has toured Europe with various projects ever since. He has been living in Berlin for four years and has made a name for himself in the jazz scene. He plays in the most important jazz clubs such as Bflat, Schlot, Zig Zag and “A” Trane Jazz Club and also leads the weekly La Minga’s Thursday Jam session.
Between 2019 and 2023, the band has made over 500 appearances across Europe, including in the biggest capitals such as Paris, London, Madrid, Rome, Stockholm, Zurich, Vienna and Krakow.
About the project:
The idea for this quintet originated from the encounter between various jazz musicians from all over the world who lived in Berlin in 2019 and had the chance to network during the pandemic period. The group began performing in various jazz scenes and eventually worked on their own compositions while also playing standards and deepening their jazz knowledge. They have since experienced tremendous musical and career growth that “shows the strength that cultural differences have when used in creative ways.”
Nick Cavoli – Trompete
Artur Rutkevich – Saxophon
Arseny Rykov – Klavier
