Filip Dinev Trio

Filip Dinev Trio
The Filip Dinev Trio, consisting of Filip Dinev (guitar), Jan Zeimetz (drums) and Paddy Fitzgerald (double bass), is a jewel of the European jazz scene. Their music combines catchy melodies, an organic flow and powerful virtuosity with influences from the Balkans, blues and classical music.
The trio has played internationally in cities such as Paris, Budapest, Berlin and Hamburg. Her discography includes the albums "Romann" (2024) and "Szvetlo" (2020).
Filip Dinev und sein Trio erhielten Lob von verschiedenen Kritikern: "Dinev's take on contemporary jazz beams with inspirations ranging from Balkan to blues and classical music making his seven-track release an immensely enjoyable experience" (Blue in Green Radio, UK). "The virtuosity is impressive but a lot of fun. The trio does seem willing to give anything a try as they gradually return to an original motif like a particularly well-thrown boomerang" (FREQ, UK).
The Filip Dinev Trio offers a dynamic and powerful musical experience that captivates with its unique blend of genres and styles.
