Album "19-29" Description:

Sol Jang International Project's '19-29' is a living exploration of life in Korea, the US and the Netherlands. In the classic jazz piano trio format, the album combines the soulful sounds of modern jazz with the raw, textured reality of Sol’s experiences. Through intertwined compositions and improvisations, 19-29 explores the complexity of life between different cultures and the search for one’s own identity. The music captures the challenges and excitement of connecting to different places and answering the question 'Who am I?' The album reflects Sol’s life in his 20s and conveys the energy of discovery and belonging, using contrasting piano harmonies and the dynamic rhythms of drums and bass to illustrate this journey of personal and musical growth.
