CLANK

CLANK

CLANK (’klæŋk)

CLANK is the new project of the drummer Clemens Litschko and a sonic journey of discovery of the four Leipzig musicians:innen. Already in the name, the ensemble’s vocal search becomes noticeable: the band moves between acoustic sounds in traditional role distribution, romantic beauty and surprisingly expressive, powerful and sometimes even rough sounds.

CLANK combines the joy of the jazz tradition with the soundtrack of her youth. Free improvisations merge with elaborate compositions that deal intensively with complex rhythms and bring the acoustic potential of the cast into the foreground.

Line-up :

Lorenz Bergler – bass clarinet

Jonas Dorn – electric guitar

Paula Wünsch – double bass

Clemens Litschko – drums, effects (efx)
