Leigh Marks

Leigh Marks
It takes courage to go your own way as a musician – to choose the more difficult path and challenge yourself to create music that goes beyond the often smooth and expressionless pop music. Leigh Marks has risen to this challenge by exploring a wide range of genres such as roots, blues and rock in his native Australia, while finding his sense of home and authenticity.
Influenced by artists such as Ben Harper, Chris Cornell and Johnny Farnham, his music combines the raw beauty of nature with the emotional depth of his personal experiences. His new album Mavis Said presents Leigh Marks as an outstanding songwriter – a talent he will now demonstrate live on his upcoming European tour and international dates. For an artist who is no stranger to the big stage, this album is another step on his artistic journey.
This work is now complete, and the audience can enjoy the songs both in an acoustic environment and with a complete band on his tour.
