In Residence – Summer at the Blue Note
With IN RESIDENCE we invite young musicians to guest for several days in the Blue Note. In the evening they play concerts on our stage, during the day they explore Dresden and collect new impressions.
Bands from different regions with different musical approaches can be experienced. We are looking forward to a versatile and inspiring concert summer.
Lunar X
The boundaries between day and night blur, get lost in the game of tides and plunge into another world. This feeling is conveyed by the four musicians of “Lunar X” from the first to the last tone of their compositions. Her music impresses with empathetic melodies, energetic improvisational passages, chamber music interjections and impulsive interaction. Inspired by composers such as Aaron Parks, Brad Mehldau and Brian Blade, the pieces move between loud and quiet, strong and fragile as well as a driving groove and floating free space.
