Jazz & Beyond Duo Concert

In Residence – Summer at the Blue Note
With IN RESIDENCE we invite young musicians to guest for several days in the Blue Note. In the evening they play concerts on our stage, during the day they explore Dresden and collect new impressions.
Bands from different regions with different musical approaches can be experienced. We are looking forward to a versatile and inspiring concert summer.
Christina Zurhausen Trio
Christina Zurhausen Trio
The Christina Zurhausen Trio presents modern jazz in a classical guitar-trio line-up – stylistically versatile and characterised by a clear sonic identity. The band moves between groove-oriented pieces, complex odd-meter arrangements and free improvisations.
Influenced by guitar greats such as John Scofield and John Abercrombie, Christina Zurhausen develops an independent sound with striking playing style and personal handwriting.
With Dario Schattel on bass and Ramon Keck on drums, the trio is complemented by two experienced musicians who contribute to the complexity of their own compositions with rhythmic precision, creativity and joy. In the trio, improvisation is understood as a lively dialogue – open, interactive and always at the service of music.
