DogOn

DogOn

DogOn is a power trio from Zurich that performs live to the highest form. The guitarist Eric Hunziker, bassist Thomas Tavano and drummer Tobias Hunziker ignite a sound firework between jazz rock, funk, dub, ambient and drum’n’bass – uncompromising, powerful and full of joy.

The band plays exclusively original compositions: sometimes riff-driven and brute, sometimes spacey and wide – but always with groove. Bass and drums drift forward or open up spaces, the guitar rages between distorted thrust, skewed timbres and massive melodies. Improvisation is part of this, but never an end in itself: what counts is the common flow.

DogOn brings experience of international tours (among others). Russia, Germany, Switzerland) and renowned festivals such as “Mama Jazz” in Lithuania – and deliver live a sound that gets under your skin and rides into your legs.
