Kayame

Kayame

Kayame touches with a warm vocal color and an honest presence. Her music moves between neosoul, pop and jazz – sometimes taken back and fine, sometimes powerful and flat, sometimes inspiringly grooving. The texts revolve around (self) love, fear, departure, peace, responsibility – and again and again around nature, both external and internal.

Together with Enno Lesch (bass), Sebastian Wappler (Keys) and Heinrich Eißmann (drums), she creates an open, lively sound space. The interaction is attentive, impulse-driven and sensitive. What connects the four is their devotion to the moment and to the music that emerges from it.
