Take Note – Songwriter Sessions hosted by Marie Kanske / Richie Ros

Take Note – Songwriter Sessions hosted by Marie Kanske
Take Note – The Songwriter Sessions is a monthly concert series at the Blue Note Dresden and offers singer-songwriters a stage for their own songs, new ideas and intimate live moments. Between folk, indie, Americana and acoustic songwriting, evenings with changing artists, personal stories and a direct atmosphere are created.
The sessions are moderated by Marie-Sophie Kanske (Sea of Love) and are aimed at experienced musicians as well as new voices from the scene. Entrance is free, donations go entirely to the performing artists:innen.
Musicians: Women who want to perform themselves can contact Marie with a short biography, 1-2 photos and links to audio/video material.
Richie Ros
Richie Ros is an Irish singer-songwriter performing with guitar, harmonica and voice. Its variable vocals range from powerful to fragile and effortlessly fill the room. Despite having completed his physiotherapy studies, he has devoted himself exclusively to music since 2010.
Growing up in the orphanage, he found an early stop in his own songs. His music processes personal experiences, but above all conveys confidence. In the title “Fairytales” he reflects on his childhood and emphasizes the belief in dreams.
His debut album “Odyssey” was made together with Grammy winner David Odlum and autobiographically tells the story of a boy who finds his way despite adverse circumstances.
