Michał Skulski Quartett

Michał Skulski (phonetically Mihau) is a Polish saxophonist who has lived in Dresden for many years and now feels at home there. He plays in various casts with many great musicians. What hardly anyone knows, Michał composes his own music, which he would like to present in Dresden's jazz headquarters, the Blue Note Dresden. His music is heavily influenced by fusion and modern jazz. He was particularly inspired by Michael Brecker, Joshua Redman, Yellow Jackets, Seamus Blake and Louis Cole. Michał is particularly looking forward to the concert in the Blue Note, as he is accompanied by the jazz bass legend Tom Götze as well as the brilliant young musicians Victor Möhmel on the piano and Moritz Grosch on the drums.
