Alexander Rueß Trio
Alexander Rueß Trio
Alexander Rueß – Gitarre & Komposition
Luca Curcio - Kontrabass
Sebastian Merk – Schlagzeug
Breathing grooves meet intimate melodies – with DEBUT, the guitarist and composer Alexander Rueß presents his first album as a bandleader. With Luca Curcio on double bass and Sebastian Merk on drums, the trio weaves a soundscape that is supported by melodic directness and Nordic intimacy. Personal, clear and at the same time open to discovery.
DEBUT will be released on Double Moon Records/Jazzthing “Next Generation” and the album features Nils Landgren as a guest. Rueß has played alongside renowned artists in recent years, including with the quartet of GRAMMY winner Nicole Zuraitis and the jazz singer with Atrin Madani. With the Alexander Rueß Trio, he now presents music of clear intention: open, personal and lastingly touching.
