Vincent Meissner, who grew up near Freiberg, attended the Saxon State Music Gymnasium Dresden and has lived in Leipzig since 2019, where he studied jazz piano.

In the festival and workshop format “International Jazz Platform” in Łódź (Poland), they met numerous young musicians from all over Europe in the summer of 2024. This resulted in numerous musical encounters, joint projects and new networks.

As part of this five-day summer residence, various of these artists will now meet for the first time on stage in changing formations. With guests from Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Prague and Antwerp, special musical “First Meetings” are created that make every evening a unique experience. So it is worth not to miss any of these days and from the 22nd to 26th. July to be part of this special concert series at the Blue Note Dresden.
