Weihnachtskult

Balkan · Chanson · Cumbia

Die Bagles are a band, not a pastry!
But just as our round namesakes have their origins in Jewish cuisine, we have our musical roots in klezmer.
Our repertoire has since branched out widely: from Balkan and Russian folklore through tango, cumbia and salsa to chanson and Italo-pop hits.
Since 2003, we’ve been performing on stages large and small from Hamburg to Lake Constance, from Görlitz to Montpellier: At the Jewish Theatre Week at the Societätstheater in Dresden, the Folklorum, the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, the Kap Arkona Festival and the Bunte Republik Neustadt. We’re also regular guests at the Blue Note Dresden – where we’ve been performing reliably on 26 December for many years.
We love to play for you and for ourselves, whether for dancing or simply to savour the moment, in public or private settings. Be it your nephew’s bar mitzvah, a wedding with your beloved, or the opening of BER – whatever there is to celebrate.
