Justin Lavash, British musician, born in 1968 in London, lived in Prague for 15 years and has established himself on the Czech music scene. His fingerstyle guitar playing combines blues, folk and jazz with New Wave and dance culture. Lavash worked as a jazz and cabaret guitarist in London in the 90s. He writes and performs soulful songs interpreted by renowned artists such as Lenka Dusilova and Michal Horacek. Two of his songs were awarded the Czech Grammophone Industry Prize Andel Awards.

His 2015 studio album Changing of Tides showcases his songwriting skills in various genres including blues, country, jazz, funk and soul. His 2016 publication, “Programmed,” merges bottleneck blues and electronica styles and received positive reviews in Reflex magazine and extensive airplay on Radio1 in Prague.

Lavash tours Europe extensively and has earned a reputation as one of the best performers. Two live albums were recorded in his adopted hometown – "Live in Prague 2015" and "Live in Prague 2" (2018). Due to health problems, Lavash moved from Prague to Teplice, but remains an active artist.
