Steaming Animals
Funk · Indie · Psychedelic
Steaming Animals must be experienced live! When the five friends bring their rousing sound – a melting pot of indie, funk and psychedelic elements – to life on stage, it’s an invitation to turn your head off, dance and immerse yourself in the fusion of guitar sounds.
With their latest release, “Wir leuchten”, they released their first song in German in August 2025. ‘Wir leuchten’ is the soaring, electrifying soundtrack to returning to reality after a bout of depression. The lyrics possess a radiant power that captivates the listener and provides new energy. Get up, go out, shine! ‘You can see it too / the two of us / we shine’ are the opening lines of the chorus, reminding us that – particularly during difficult mental health struggles – it’s always worth changing your perspective. Especially
so that you can once again perceive the beauty in the things and people around you. A familiar theme for Steaming Animals, expressed in this song more aptly than ever.
